Lois Fried
Managing Partner, Urban Atlantic
Lois Fried is a Managing Partner, and a co-founder of Urban Atlantic. She also serves as President of Urban Atlantic subsidiary Mid-City Community CDE, a Community Development Entity certified by the U.S. Treasury Department. Responsible for all aspects of capital sourcing and deployment, she has deployed $5 billion in real estate investments, including multiple large-scale, mixed-use, and mixed-income projects, leveraging public and private funds. Prior to co-founding Urban Atlantic, Ms. Fried served as Chief Financial Officer of the Montgomery County Housing Opportunities Commission. She was also President of Current Asset Finance Corp., Vice President of MNC Financial’s South Charles Realty Corp., and a Partner with Trammell Crow Residential.
Ms. Fried holds a BS in Journalism from the University of Colorado and an MBA in Finance from George Washington University. She is a former member and Treasurer of the Board of the Montgomery Housing Partnership and currently serves on the Board of the Center for Adoptive Services and Education (CASE).
